ASTHMA
Whatever the level of asthma in children, Bowen often seems
to reduce the level of attack very quickly and effectively.
Alistair Rattray, an experienced Bowen practitioner and
teacher is carrying out research which shows how successful
the technique can be, whether the child is on medication

Adults who suffer from asthmatic problems often have more
complex related issues. Nevertheless Bowen has shown to be
effective in the treatment and management of adult asthma.
CEREBRAL PALSY
Ongoing research by Howard Plummer in Wales, since 1999,
has been targeting children with cerebral palsy and is
producing encouraging results.
Initial outcomes include: increased vocalisation; quieter,
calmer behaviour; improved co-ordination/ concentration/comprehension;
improvements in constipation; improvements with scoliosis;
head control, balance and improved development of better
eye contact.
Howard holds a free clinic every two weeks in Cardiff for
children with cerebral palsy and related conditions. For
